By Lourdes, on May 7th, 2012 Culture Shock opened on May 4th as many of you probably know. The chosen charity for this event is Médecins Sans Frontières (for the second year). Bela Tolsen of Tutti Frutti has released a set of mesh pants and tops for this years Culture Shock. I’m wearing the Believe mesh pants and the top in Baby Blue (I think that’s the color of the top, SL won’t let me log into double check).

By Lourdes, on May 4th, 2012 In about an hour Culture Shock will open and 22769 is one of over 100 vendors with goodies for you to grab. Two of the items available are the African Spring top and the Badu. Both have an very pretty ethnic texture and have a very earthy feel to them. Both items are rigged mesh and available in 4 coordinating colors. I accessorized with the Free As a Bird necklace from Caroline’s Jewelry also at Culture Shock. The necklace comes in gold or silver. I just love the delicate details in this piece, and you can wear it casual or to dress up for a night on the grid.

By Lourdes, on May 2nd, 2012 In case you didn’t know faMESHed, Stumblebum, and The Summer Beauty Festival are three events that kicked off, or in the case of Stumblebum renewed with fresh goodies, on May 1st. At some point over the next 2 or 3 weeks. I’ll give each event their own post, but I wanted to give a sample of what is available at all three events.
Aura is participating in both faMESHed and Stumblebum. The Class Act Jeans are available at faMESHed. I am not usually a fan of bell bottom jeans but I think these are just too cute. I love the texturing and the little pattern on the side. These jeans also make me very happy that waxing is not necessary in SL. The Class Act Jeans leave very little margin for error. The Boho Ruffle Tops are available in seven colors for Stumblebum, and are discounted 25% off during the duration of this round.

By Lourdes, on April 30th, 2012 I’m in between events at the moment. In the coming weeks I have 3 different events I’ll be covering. FaMEShed which starts May 1st; Summer Beauty Festival also starting May 1st; and Culture Shock that starts May 4th. The downtime gave me a chance to go through some recent purchases that I have not had a chance to wear or blog. The Sushmita Mesh Maxi in Dragonfruit from Bilo is currently available at The Dressing Room until Thursday, for only L$70. This is a limited edition color and won’t be available again.

By Lourdes, on April 28th, 2012 If you haven’t been to Fantasy Faire 2012, benefiting Relay for Life, you should because tomorrow is the last day. For our final posts coverning Fantasy Faire, Sal and I are covering the magnificent fantasy wear from House of Rfyre and some cute and deadly role-play toys from Solarium. Sal has a more detailed post on the Solarium role-play toys for combat on his blog Second Life Roleplay. But I do want to mention 2 items from Solarium because I think they are pretty and cute.
If you want to make a grand entrance (or exit) the Sakura Dash HUD (one of the RFL donation items) is prefect. It generates swirls of sakura leaves.

By Lourdes, on April 22nd, 2012 Fantasy Faire 2012 to benefit RFL opened yesterday April 21st and runs until April 29th. Sal and I are honored and excited to be able to cover this event for our second year. We got to take a walk through 9 of the 11 the sims on Friday, and I must say the builders have done an amazing job. Sal captured some pictures you can see on his flickr page. Also be sure to check out the Fantasy Faire Flickr Group.
Wasabi Pills is one of over 100 stores present at this year’s Fantasy Faire. Their shop is on The Tides sim, which is my favorite build so far at the faire. The donation items are the Hawk style available in 2 variation and male and female, in the crystals color pack. The crystals color pack includes 3 fantasy colors, pink, azure and purple.

By Lourdes, on April 20th, 2012 LISP Bazaar has the cutest parasols and umbrellas at this month’s Collabor88. The package comes with both umbrella’s and parasols, six, one for each static pose. Each umbrella and parasol come with about 20 texture change options. There is also one umbrella and parasol you can use with your AO.
We took pics for this at the Mayfair Sim home to main stores for Mon Tissu ahd Celoe. I tried to get a nice rain effect going and to make it look darker, my PS skills are far from good. But I think I did ok. Still not happy with the rain though, but you get the picture.
