It’s been quite a while since I’ve blogged here since I’ve been busy with work, school, and other things. Fantasy Faire, though, is an event that I wholeheartedly support because it supports a great cause; the fight against Cancer. Take some time to visit the sims, explore the sights, and buy some donation items to contribute to the cause.
Fall is a great time to wear some nice sweaters and comfortable clothes as the weather cools down. Walking around the city when the leaves are falling and the weather is crisp and breezy, does not require a heavy or bulky jacket, just something warm enough to keep the cold out. One solution is the new outfit from EPICOSITY available at FAIR. It comes with everything you see in the pictures; a cowl-neck sweater, plaid pants, and shoes in men’s mesh standard sizing.
Many times I get home tired from work and need some time to unwind. The HIS granny chair is a great place to sit, relax, and watch the game. It comes with an ottoman so you can put your feet up and get comfy as the action unfolds on the screen.
When Strawberry Singh asked us all to show our current digits, I thought it was an interesting idea to see how our avatars have changed over time since we last participated in this experiment. My avatar has definitely changed over time partially due to my changes in role play but also due to the arrival of mesh. Mesh is a wonderful concept with many possibilities but it is not fully developed and even though there is standard sizing, it can be a problem to get it to fit your shape.
Cajsa Lilliehook and Gidge Uriza of It’s Only Fashion were kind enough to invite Salvatore and I to participate in their Blogger Carnival Exhibit at SL9B. We did a tutorial of sorts on how to take emotional couples photos, and we have a little photo-set set up so that you can duplicate the picture below.
Culture Shock 2012 is already under way and going on till May 26 with lots of great items such as clothing, skins, and accessories for men and women. This is a charity where all donation items give 100% or 50% of the sale price to Médecins Sans Frontières. More information on participating stores and a map of the event can be found on the Culture Shock Blog.
Lourdes and I are covering Fantasy Faire 2012 this year just as we did last year and we’re having lots of fun with all the great items the different designers have released this year. This post continues on my blog Second Life Role Play as part of our cross-linking. Read on and enjoy. Click here to continue.
There’s a certain feeling when you realize that the person you love is your other half. It is known that two halves make a whole and one half is not complete without the other. These are but some of the things that unite us more each day. In seven months, Lourdes and I have accomplished more than we ever did before we met. The funny part about it is that we realized it after a few months had passed and many times it feels as if we have been together for a longer period. What it all boils down to is one word. Compatibility.
