What Christmas Means To Me

We’re getting closer and closer to the big day. But its not as exciting as it used to be when I was a kid. But I still love the whole feeling of the season. To me its not Christmas until I’ve gone back home to NYC to do some holiday shopping. I love the crowds and the Christmas window displays. I decided to take pics at Santa’s Workshop. Its reminds me of Christmas City in Bethlehem, PA which was also on the holiday to do list growing up.

But Christmas is supposed to be the season of giving, so today I’ve got a few goodies from an event that is an example of the community giving back to one of their own.

Bubblegum Weekend Thingie

New House… New Bikini

About a week ago Sal and I found a nice cozy island and settled down with a new house.  House decorating can be tiresome. I took a break and took little Lorna out for some sun and sand.  I got the cutest beach blanket and swimsuit for her from Chunky Monkey.  I also got a beach blanket for my self from ANA-mations one of the Lazy Saturday specials. Two of my favorite stores had new bikinis so I wore both. Hucci has the Waterfall Bikini and Sn@tch the Belize Bikini.

Weekend Goodies

This weekend I got caught up on some new releases from this week and grabbed a few weekend releases. Today I’m showing the latest items from Hucci, Adam N Eve, Tuli (group gift), Huz Tats and Exile (The Dressing Room).

Tuli’s group gift is crap load of make-up layer addons; including teeth, eyeliner,  eyeshadow, beauty marks and lipsticks.  If you aren’t a group member join soon, because group notices are only there for 2 weeks.

I’m a Boot Whore

I LOVE LOVE LOVE BOOTS!!! Leather boot are my favorite, but I’ve been know to on occasion buy other types of well made.  When Grazia Horwitz posted a teaser pic on plurk of Gos’s new Slouch Boots, I knew they were MINE!!!  IMO Gos is a one of the best shoe makers on the grid, that really doesn’t get the credit or exposure he deserves.  Gos has awesome booties at One Eleven and why are they not sold out?

Speaking of  One Eleven and great stuff that gets passed up. I picked up this Dernier Cri hair last night.  Its a very cute style and different from styles I see on the feeds every day.

Anyway with these boots I’m wearing the Cordial Jumpsuit from Hucci thats being released today. Also Hucci has a great fur collar suit at the Snow Flake Experience and a cute sweater for the With Love Hunt.  So check it out.

Call for Couture

Chic Management who brought us The Black and Blue Fair and The Summer of Love Fair, just opened The Call for Couture of Festival (CfC).  Designers offer a couture item for auction and a pret-a-porter (ready wear) item. 50 Percent of the proceeds go to The Samaritans charity.  There are lots of items from designers we all know and love and some that may be new to you.  I’m showing 4 of the pret-a-porter items today. I’ll be showing more on Shopping Cart Disco on Tuesday.

Also the poses I’m using are from !Bang. !Bang is featuring poses that are specifically geared toward showing off short poofy dresses and long formals.  There are also some very nice couples poses out. I can never have too many couples poses.
