Its that time again 50 Shade of Sexy. This week the theme is Sexual Healing. I figured for this one we’d do couple’s pics. And since I’m sure people have worn the Marvin Gaye song into the ground I did today’s blog title from an Isley Brother’s song that puts across the same idea.
There is a new blogger challenge that started last week called 50 Shades of Sexy. Now this is a long term blogger challenge I can pretty much keep up with. Yeah so I’m a wee bit behind already but I will get caught up this week. Its an easy challenge because I have tons and tons of lingerie. Also with Lolas Tango’s becoming popular alot of… whats the word I’m looking for here? lets go with… non trashy lingerie stores are offering tango appliers with their new releases. They are also going back to some old releases and adding appliers. Because, you know, lingerie never goes out of style. Its one of the few things that people are not throwing out their texture layers to replace with mesh.
One thing I always enjoy wearing is jeans. Cynful recently released the Zia 2.0 jeans. They come in 3 leg versions: skinny, bootcut, and flair. These jeans are very low cut but with the right top you don’t have to show all your business. They also layer pretty well with bigger/longer mesh sweaters and tops. Also be sure to check out the dark blue denim at The Dressing Room, which should be available until Friday.
FaMESHed opened with a new collection for the month of October and Erratic has this cute Oversized Sweater is several solid and patterned textures.
Today’s blog title: Sal and I were listening to the El Cantente Soundtrack and Aguanile was on when I saved the first pic.
Erratic released the Cowl Neck Dress a bit over a week ago and I fell in love with the sequined texturing. Honestly, I’ve seen a few party dresses released in the past week or so. This dress by far has the best sequin texturing. The dress also comes in a no sequin texture, both is several colors.
I love jeans, both in RL and SL. I have my favorite clothing layer jeans that I don’t think will ever give up. But mesh jeans haven’t worked out too well for me except for a couple of brands. Both styles are flairs. I have had a terrible problem with skinny jeans. My 2 main issues were 1) HUGE gap between the legs. 2) The thighs were way too skinny for my taste. I think I have come to terms with the fact that, for the foreseeable future I will never have the same luscious thighs in mesh that I am accustomed to in clothing layers. Now the mission is to find the skinny jeans that I can live with. The good news is I think I found them.
Yeah I know everyone is blogging about hair fair. I’m taking a bit of a detour from hair fair blogging to catch up on pics I took last week. These pics were meant for to be blogged on Friday, but I got busy walking around hair fair. Anyway One Voice is still open and has lots of goodies including this cute updo from Exile called Break Away. Sakide also has the Letter from Paris outfit available in Rose and Black in 2 different design choices. I love the writing and postage stamp on the skirt, it was the deciding factor on which version to grab. Adorkable also has some cute poses out for One Voice called Handbag. There are 5 poses that work for left and right handbags.
Hair Fair 2012 opened today. You can see the slurls and map at the official Hair Fair Blog. Discords Designs has released 5 new mesh styles for Hair Fair. I’ve always thought Discord does the best braids on the grid and her new mesh versions are even better. Today I am wearing the Devlyn style which is unisex and comes in 2 sizes. In this style the braids fall all the down to the lower back or butt. If you prefer a shorter style there is Delrey, also available at Hair Fair.
