I love visting the sims that have decorated for winter. The make for good photo back drops for winter fashions. I guess you cans say I like winter and fall fashions the best. I always look forward to new boots, coats and winter hair styles with various winter themed accessories.
I love jeans, both in RL and SL. I have my favorite clothing layer jeans that I don’t think will ever give up. But mesh jeans haven’t worked out too well for me except for a couple of brands. Both styles are flairs. I have had a terrible problem with skinny jeans. My 2 main issues were 1) HUGE gap between the legs. 2) The thighs were way too skinny for my taste. I think I have come to terms with the fact that, for the foreseeable future I will never have the same luscious thighs in mesh that I am accustomed to in clothing layers. Now the mission is to find the skinny jeans that I can live with. The good news is I think I found them.
I’m kinda under the weather today, but I wanted to show you guys a couple more items from Vintage Fair. Razorblade Jacket has the fab Thrace Military Jacket (for guys) and Dress (for the ladies) exclusively at Vintage Fair. Both items are available in 5 colors to coordinate with your honey.
Over the past weeks a few things have happened that made me toy with the idea of taking a different direction in my usual style. I’ve been blogging fashion for almost 4 years. In the past 2 I’ve tried to gravitate toward a style that was more “acceptable” in the mainstream fashion community. As mesh fashion becomes more and more popular, I find that I’m giving up more of what I like and what is Lourdes in order to fit in. So, I’m taking a step away from all that and taking a detour. I’m going to experiment in a different style.
Don’t get me wrong I love mesh; hair, shoes, eyes, lashes and various accessories. When it comes to clothes, I’ll be far more discriminating. After all we wear the clothes, the clothes shouldn’t wear us.
